Natalie had a friend sleep over on Friday night and while she was here they created 12 new songs one of which is called the "Dino Girl" all are renditions of " I'm a Barbie Girl" So here it is for your enjoyment!!

Ginger bread houses and white elephants! On Friday we went a Christmas party for primary workers and it was fun. Jennifer and I came home with a tire gage and porcelain Santa clause teddy bear. The joys of the white elephant exchange. In fairness I needed the tire gage and the kids thought the teddy bear was cute. One question we have faced this week was what to do with three gingerbread houses. Sydney made one at a friend’s house and we were invited to some friends for FHE where we made two to bring home. We have opted to eat one and display two of them. If any one is in need of a gingerbread house let me know!

Merry Christmas! Here's a little video describing how to make the most wonderful cookies on the face of the planet! Well so maybe they're not so hot because we dropped them a couple hundred times juggling the dough but nonetheless we will eat every single one.

Merry Christmas in 10 DAYS!!!!!

Everyone is very excited to get their very own orange, whole peanuts (shells included), tin cup, and penny. Although Drew would rather enjoy to become a Jedi and have his very own REAL blue light-saber.However, all of us enjoy our limbs to much to allow Drew to have his Christmas wish. Simon gets to sing a solo in his school's Christmas talent show, Natalie produced a fantastic nativity with her brothers, and Sydney spent Friday playing lazer-tag and mini-golf as part of a reward for being the winning grade at the middle school.

Emma went to a debate tournament and didn't place, but she did get yelled at by the grouchy bus driver, who had to drop Emma off at a gas station to get picked up at, and the driver said, "I'm not waiting for your parents to come and get you!" Yeah so you're going to let a 14-year old girl stay at a gas station with strange old men and leave her to stand in the blizzard, nice person :)
