The Penderwicks: A Summer Tale of Four Sisters, Two Rabbits and a Very Interesting Boy. I really loved this book! It is a pretty short read, only about 25o pages but the type is really big.
The Penderwicks On Gardam Street is the second book about the Penderwicks. It is a great book about trust and doing what is right.
Seven Day Magic is kind of an old book it was written in the 1960's but it is a very good book. It is about four kids who find a magical book and it takes on lots of adventures!
Last but not least Percy Jackson and the Olympians, I actually read this series before any of the other books on the list. They are very exciting , adventure-packed books.“A book is a gift you can open again and again.”

Thanks for the summer read suggestions. I requested the one that your mom recommended through inter library loan but have not heard on it yet. At this point it would not make much of a difference since my current read is Philosophy and will be until almost the end of July. Ellie took a few pictures on the 4th until all of the batteries to the camera died. Tomorrow we will try to find time to send them to you. We started swimming lessons today and Caleb had soccer practice. His games start tomorrow. In other words it is a bit crazy around here so we will see what we can do. We must now go buy groceries. I think the last time we bought groceries you still lived in Idaho. If only that fact made us thinner. Oh well. Rebecca
