Simon Joshua Simpson was baptized on August 1 2009! We are so pleased with him! Grami gave a talk on Baptism and Sydney gave a talk on the Holy Ghost. Emma and Natalie provided the music. It was such a nice meeting.
After the baptism we had a party for Simon! Kung Fu Panda :)!! We played a game called Sensei, a game called I Wanna Know You, and we also had a fish pond! (Classic :) There was also a May Pole at the party!
Simon taught us how to do 3 Karate moves, and we all had fun dancing underneath the plastic disco ball and neon open sign in the dark basement.
Overall the day was filled with fun with our family!

Yo Simon, Happy Birthday/Baptism!!! I'm pretty sure we are going to have to have a maypole dance at our house now.
That last family photo is extra cute. I'm thinking of stealing it.
You guys are such a neat family and we feel so blessed you moved into our ward! You are wonderful friends. The baptism was beautiful. Simon is an awesome kid and it was so fun getting to know him at Cub Scout camp last week. All the Simpson kids just radiate sweetness and goodness!
Congratulations again Simon on your baptism!!! It looks like it was a very funfilled day with family. Our ward has definately been blessed already by having all of the Simpson's families light and examples! Thank you all! You are truly a wonderful family!
Horray for Simon!!! Congratulations. It looked like you guys had a great day! What fun ideas. You are going to have to let us know how to play those games. We're always looking for new fun ideas. :)
The only thing that makes me feel worse than missing the baptism is missing the KUNG FU PARTY!! You know I'd have been pretty darn awesome "bustin' the moves" that Simon taught. LOVED the computer visits with each of you - - and the family picture is very cute!
Perhaps I am the only one left wondering what connection there is between Kung Fu Panda and a maypole, if so you may disregard this comment. Otherwise I would love an explanation! Congratulations Monie! I said a Monie, Monie, Monie, I said a Monie, Monie, Monie, I said yeah, yeah, yeah!
