We had a great time on our trip with the Nybos. We drove 1400 miles, walked 26 and ate 5 chicken nuggets a piece (four times). We have a firm commitment from Simon that he will be employed in some capacity at the White House so we can all be invited to a banquet at some future date.
The Nybos also saw some of the great sites in Indiana and most of them got to sleep in beds soooo. . . who is next? We could go on a tour of area football stadiums and pick up a game at say Ohio State, we could go to Graceland, church history sites anyone? How about New York City? I hear Boston is a great place to visit or maybe Philadelphia and don't forget the Indianapolis 500. Indianapolis is just a one day drive to any of the places on this list (mind you, it's a long day but it's all part of the adventure)!! Book your trip today!
Thanks Nybos! We love you!

SO FUN! I love DC. We miss you guys! We are going to be very sad to now have Simpsons in Idaho. Hopefully we'll be able to visit soon :)
Kelsey, Brooklyn, and I LOVED your videos of the Washington DC trip, and now these girls are anxious to book their trip!! The sights were pretty amazing, and Neil Diamond in the background just took it over the top! What a neat trip for your family. It looked like the Nybo bunch were enjoying themselves too. We are just all slightly jealous. Someday? Who knows. . . .
I loved the pictures, the sites, the faces, the Hope diamond... and even Neil Diamond.
You know what I'm thinking about now? I'll tell you...
Far
We've been traveling far
Without a home
But not without a star
Free
Only want to be free
We huddle close
Hang on to a dream
On the boats and on the planes
They're coming to America
Never looking back again
They're coming to America
Home, don't it seem so far away
Oh, we're traveling light today
In the eye of the storm
In the eye of the storm
Home, to a new and a shiny place
Make our bed, and we'll say our grace
Freedom's light burning warm
Freedom's light burning warm
Everywhere around the world
They're coming to America
Every time that flag's unfurled
They're coming to America
Got a dream to take them there
They're coming to America
Got a dream they've come to share
They're coming to America
They're coming to America
They're coming to America
They're coming to America
They're coming to America
Today, today, today, today, today
I may come over, but only if Neil can come too.
Looks and sounds like you had a great time. Everyone should tour Washington DC.Would love to go again- maybe someday. And someday visit the Simpsons in Indiana.
What an amazing trip!! I would love to go to D.C. someday. :) And Indiana of course! How far are you from Pennsylvania? I would love to go see Amish country. Maybe that will be a trip for us to book with you guys. And some church history spots along the way, and NYC...this could be the makings of another amazing trip!
When the first video started I thought to myself what a horrible choice of music. I almost burst into tears when I realized that I was listening to Neil Diamond's "Were coming to America". That was my favorite part of your Washington DC trip. I will definitely be adding that to itunes. I guess the Washington DC stuff was OK if your into that kind of stuff. I prefer sitting at home being bossed around by a four year old and trying to correct my own English papers because my tutor is touring the White House. That is what I enjoy:)
So glad you took the kids to DC. You all know it is one of my favorite cities. So much to see and so little time. That was the beauty of living there for five years.
Jennifer I need your help. Will you please send me your e-mail address. To jwride@frontiernet.net
Love and miss you guys.
That looks like a great trip. Just to be in D.C. that would be awesome. The music was great to I really like Neil Diamond. Thanks for the blog.
